When You Wish Upon A Star

In my life, besides having a wish to become a Power Ranger when I was 4 (which didn't came true), I never really wish for anything else (as far as I could remember). But if one day, one were to grant me wishes then there will be 10 things I would wish for in my whole life: 1) Be happy and healthy - always and forever. (This also means I'll die happily in my dreams - just like Inception) 2) Wish that my skin would not wrinkle up when I'm old. 3) Wish I have someone to love besides my Mom. 4) Wish I wasn't always the second option to be seek. 5) Wish people will remember me when I was right from the beginning. 6) Wish a few (or even one) person that will really thank me like how I thank others when they help me. 7) Wish I'll have enough money to buy a custom-made bungalow in Penang and let my Mom stay in the BIGGEST room on ground floor. 8) Wish to travel around the world visiting countries that are developed, peaceful and disaster free (That way I won

Early Birthday

Today was a happy day. Yeah! That's the end of this post! You think? Here's what happen today, my friends throw me a surprise early birthday gathering which I wasn't expected till 5.45pm when Celine told me to accompany her to atm then she'll discuss thermodynamics with me. (By the way, today was also the first time I skip class this semester). I was curious as in "Why she make me walk that far to where she always go atm alone... well... most of the time?" However I chose to believe her as she's a good and loyal friend of mine and I did ask her to help me in thermo this morning. So when I reach the atm place there was a tiny bit of shock in me because I didn't expect many people to turn up including some I'm not really close to. A short while later, came the cake. It was funny as there were 2 cakes - one black one white. There was this other girl - Shu Yin which she has birthday one day earlier than mine but since she's going ba

Sometimes in Life

It's been a while since I posted anything. Actually I've been saving this post since the last one I posted and it was suppose to be the part 2 of Things You Don't Know Till Your 21, however due to busy semester 3 schedule and extra curricular activities, I couldn't find time to studies how the Picasa Web Album works... You can also pause the slideshow by just moving your cursor towards the slide show and click on the "Pause" button. Have a pleasant evening!

Journey into the Unknown - Part 2

Yup I heard you guys love the first one so here's another 10 unsolved mysteries in the world for you to puzzle on. Enjoy! 1. Sphinx of Giza, Egypt Another Egyptian wonder (refering to Pyramids of Giza in Part 1), the Sphinx of Giza has a body of a lion and the head of a Pharoah (Egypt king), believed by most to be that of king Khafre. It was carved from soft limestone, and has been slowly falling apart over the years. A popular theory of the missing nose claims that Napoleon's soldiers shot it off with a cannon in 1798, but early sketches discovered of the Sphinx without a nose predate Napoleon's rampage. 2. Chupacabra Phylis Canion holds the head of what she is calling a Chupacabra at her home in Cuero, Texas. This strange-looking animal, first reported in Puerto Rico in 1995, apparently has a taste for chicken and goat blood. Although many pictures like the above might prove its existence, biologists assure no such creature exists. 3. The Ark of Covenant

Digitally Me

When was the last time you use the film camera? Never? How about when was the last time you listen to cassette or a CD? 10 years ago? When was the last time you use a catapult? To shoot angry bird?... No Yes. In the age of digitalisation, we has stopped using a few of the pioneers technological product which normally more mechanical. Instead, most of us use it's successor which is more digital. For example, I have stopped using this by 1999 and replace it with my first ever Sony digital camera and it's only 2 megapixel. And now you people are complaining your phone camera pixels not enough while you don't even know the meaning of pixel) and the screen is only 1.0 inch. Damn! It looks something like this except this is the later model with 3.2 megapixel. Music? Ya, of course we have the casette. I remember use to play those nursery rhymes and Chinese New Year music with casette player. Then came the first portable music carrying device from (what els

Just some random posts on how much our eyes can deceive us sometimes in a way we dont quite expect...It doesn't really count we're awake if we didn't open our eyes. Our eyes took up 50% among our sensory organs in our daily lives activity (That's equivalent to the biggest share holder in a company). Sometimes by just listening a song, you'll feel it lacks of something and its only right when it goes along with video. For example, here are a lyrics to a song "How you choose to express yourself, It's all your own and I can tell." or how about the chorus? "You are the thunder and I am the lightning" It just doesn't feel right. However when you watch the video below (especially in full screen and HD), one word - WOW! Enjoy the video... Not cool? Alright maybe I was wrong but here's another one that requires you to be visually sharp. Take this. It utilizes Google Chrome Open Source. Can you spot any words from here? 669966666

The title says it all. Angry Birds - the game we all know and played before. Actually it can be consider game of the century (although it's quite a simple format game) since every person knows this game. Simple catapult game trying to kill pigs. The game was originally made for iPhone with first appearance in December 2009 and they never look back since then... Here's a brief history on Angry Birds cartoon releases... The very first trailer: Hard to believe even Symbian OS can play right? Then, they introduce some short clips with version updates to iOS version of the game. With the success of Angry Birds, Rovio decided to launch of Angry Birds Seasons followed by Angry Birds Rio - a collaboration with the movie Rio (Go watch it, Beautiful Movie) And eventually endorsement from Micorsoft itself since it has failed to get an Angry Birds license for its Windows Phone... And then there's the spoof... It got so big that in fact there

Journey into the Unknown - Part 1

The world is full of mystery. Many of them are still unsolved till today. Let's look at 10 of the world's unresolved mysteries in this post. 1. The Mighty Incan Empire of South America. The mighty Incan Empire of South America flourished between 1200 and 1535 AD. They are the one who developed drainage systems and canals to expand their crops, and built stone cities atop steep mountains - such as Machu Picchu (above picture) - without ever inventing the wheel. Despite their vent achievements, the Incan Empire with its 40, 000 manned army was no match for 180 Spanish conquitadors armed with advanced weapons and smallpox. 2. Ancient Pyramids in Giza, Eygpt Khufu, Khafre and Menkaura - these are the names of the 3 ancient Pyramids of Giza. Khufu being the biggest, consists more than 2 million stones weighing 9 tonnes (1 tonnes = 1000kg). The Pyramids were built as elaborate tombs for divine kings dated back to 2550 BC. However, modern Egyptologists believe that the pyr

The Little-lest Thing You Don't Know Till You're 21

1) Making money isn't that easy as it looks 2) Leaving something at a particular place doesn't mean it will never ran away 3) Running away from something doesn't mean it will leave you. 4) Love is like alcohol - if you drink too much, you begin to act stupid 5) When you're in a relationship there are only 2 ways left to go - Get married or Breakup 6) There are more breakups than marriage in the world. 7) Truth hurts but lies kills 8) The person that shit on you doesn't always means it's your enemy 9) The person that help you clean up shit doesn't always means it's your friend. 10) Lost object doesn't mean it cannot be found. 11) Founded object doesn't mean it cannot get lost. 12) All glory is from daring to begin 13) It's not what you want to do that counts, it's what you did that matters. 14) Those who like Pussycat Dolls does not mean they love pussy, cat or dolls. 15) The world most hardworking people are from South Korea, the world

Malaysia: Ori ar?

Image
This is perhaps my most controversial post of all time. I can't say much on this but as we all know Malaysia just recently unveil the 3rd generation coins and this is what it looks like... but as I look closer and stare longer (yes, I stare at coins) does it looks like.... These are the Euro coins and no this is not what I'm trying to say... Look closer... Israel? Seriously? Our passport can't even get us there... (Yup, look at your passport closely and you'll notice that you cannot travel to Israel) besides, why u wanna go there for? Anyhow, this is the time my curiousity begins again and I found out that even Malaysia national anthem is not original. The anthem copy a song from Hawaii's Mamula Moon... Don't believe me? Just listen and see... At least this song is better... Although Penang Laksa made it to 7th spot of the most delicious food in the world but somehow watching this didn't really make me feel proud. Come on la, at least put the coins based on

You have Google+. What to do Next?

Image
If you have been a good friend of mine, you will probably notice me asking you for your e-mail address. This is to invite you over from Google+. Some of you asks what is Google+? Well, from my point of view it is a project to win over people to make Google the dominant giant in the Internet.... again! (Well, Facebook been winning since year 2010). However for now it's still in the testing field, so unless someone who already got in invited you, you can't get in. So if you still didn't sign up for Google+ then stop reading. The next paragraph is gonna cause you jealousy and hatred for not being popular enough to be invited. Joking. Alright, once you got invited the first thing you enter the site you will see something like this... Yup, they already teaching you on what to do next. But just in case you're lazy to watch the video I'm gonna briefly run through what's important her before moving on to the essentials. 1.Circles Unlike Facebook, you don't have &quo
